I want residual income. I want to make money while I'm at the doctor's office with my friend, while I'm helping by reading to kids, by serving in the school, while I'm playing with my kids. I want to impact millions of lives. I want to be able to serve on many different levels. I want to affect generations. I want to take the summers off. I want to schedule my own time.


Why do you want it?
Purpose has power. Purpose creates drive.

Everything is Figuroutable if you have the what and why figured out.
Reasons come first, answers come second.

Have a purpose driven business. Consciously and Intentionally make your business about more than just money. Use your business to create change for people, for the community, and for the planet.
Imagine your business as a force for good. Create positive change with your business for yourself, you family, your vendors, your employees, your community, the envioronment and even social issues that you believe in. It's hugely inspiring and energizing.

3P's-
Purpose: Business Purpose: Why does your company exist? People don't buy what you do, they buy why you do it. This is emotional, use your heart, your values, your vision for a brighter future. Building a business that fuels higher profits and your higher purpose means that you are going to build your business from the inside out. You are sharing yourself with this.

People: Who are the people you are going to serve? What are their values, their beliefs, and their world views? what difference do I want to make to them? How can I help these people? How will I help them improve their lives?

Product: You need a product or service that you can sell that will serve these people. You need to be able to clearly describe it. This is where you pour all of your energy and creativity. People don't necessarily fall in love with your product, they fall in love with the way your product makes them feel. make it so that your product connects your customers to feelings they value so they want to keep coming back.


1) Decide what and where you want to go. What exactly will you use this program to help you achieve in your business and life? What are the specific business and personal results you’re working to achieve? Add as much detail as you can including: your financial goals, time frames and the feelings and emotions you’ll generate along the way.
2) Why do you want these results? What are your reasons? What are the ‘whys’ to back up your ‘whats’? Write as many compelling reasons as you can.

• I want this program to help me make $100,000 by December 31, 2019. Out of that $100,000 of revenue, I want $90,000 of it to be profit I can take home for personal income because I want to pay off our house and begin saving for another, because I know that every one of those dollars that I have earned means another life changed, because I have a big heart to help people. Because I want to take care of people's health and wellness. I want my profits to grow a non-profit that educates people about the mind, body, food, spirit connection. I want to be able to donate money for people to receive grants and funding for non-traditional healthcare. I want to provide nourishment not only to the spirit but to the mind and body. I feel like our personal finance goals limit me from doing this right now. I want to be able to make enough money that my goals to take care of people do not interfere with our family's comfort and security. I want to not have to worry about mortgages, rents, or the cost to build a nourishing center. This first year is the seed. This plan I have will come about within a few years. I want every dollar of profit to profit not just two individuals but two hundred-if you count me, my family, the person who purchased the product and used it, their family, and the families i can bless by teaching them a better way to live and feel the Spirit. The $10,000 not taken home will purchase a new computer and av equipment as well as pay for more training and professional help to improve my product and website. $3,000 for the technology upgrades, $7,000 for the help to improve my products and services and to improve my reach. 
• I want my business to generate income while I'm spending time with my family, serving my neighbors, doing family history, living in the community, sleeping, eating, cooking, and cleaning. I want my business to be able to run without me, for the most part. I'd like to be able to work from 10am-2pm, 4 days a week on marketing, education, new offerings, expenses, etc... Why? I want to be able to have summer vacation with my kids while they still live at home and even more reduced hours. I want to be able to have school holidays and weeks where I can throw myself into church related or community releated service because I'm passionate about serving as many people as I can. I have the biggest servant heart and I want this to be as automated as possible while still creating an awesome revenue. I don't want to be a personal coach because that's too captivating. I want to be a pre-recorded guide who has thought through everything and provided all kinds of resources so people can solve their problems with the Lord and instead of taking them to me, they take them to the Lord, and then tell me what the Lord has done for them. I want the customers to take their questions and concerns to the Lord. I think it would be fun to be able to connect during one or two live groups going through per year, so that I can feel the change and impact a little, but I want to be very hands-off, like Leslie Householder. She's created courses and given us the freedom to purchase any time and do it anytime though she's still in contact. 
• I want to be able to continue on in my units so that I have a four part series, always available for students because I know the Lord has more for me to do. I know he wants me to explain a lot more to my students.
• I want to have a website where I post a blog article weekly and touch base with everyone because I like to share where I'm at and I need an outlet to nerd out. I think others like to think about the things I nerd out about.
• I want to have a community of people who have gone through my course so that we can feel united but I don't want it on rented space (like FB) because I don't like leading people to places I don't like to go, I'd love to have it on my website, like Marie Forleo, so that I can run it and manage it, or have my team run and manage it, and it not be a time suck for my beloved students. 
• I want people to be completely set up for success because I feel that provides them with the most value. They can purchase the course and the workbook, watch all of the videos and everything is explained and easy to understand because, in the beginning it takes more work, but it will pay off in the end. 
• I want people to be able to see me on screen and recognize my in a picture because I want them to be able to know I'm real, and I'm trustworthy, and I go throught this life living what I teach and still stumble and fall and rise.
• I want to hear stories of change and of people practicing the principles I teach in their lives because it will keep me going and will fuel the work. 
• I want people to worship the Lord with all of their heart, might, mind, and strength, not me, because I'm imperfect and unworthy for worship. 
• I want people to look forward to my communication with them like I'm their friend, because I am. I want them to actually be excited to hear from me and to read my emails because I think that will show that I'm providing people with what they need, hope, encouragement, support, friendship, reality through the lens of perspective, and hopefully, most of all, love. 
• I want people to be able to share what I teach and bless other people because it's not fair for me to know what I know and not warn others, and it's fun to watch people grow and I feel that it is my stewardship in this life to instruct, teach, and edify. 
• I want the freedom to worship and grow and expand as I do this, that instead of tying me down, it frees me up, like authors often say, I had to get it out or it would explode. I want to feel relief that I have shared what the Lord put into my mouth, shared it in the ways he wants me to, and that through my obedience, he is going to give me more because, to me, that would mean success. I consider this to be an indication of success, I got it out, I am free to grow more while others are able to learn from where I've been.
• I want to be an instrument in the Lord's hands because I love Him with all my heart.
• I want help with my next online course, people to format, record, edit, etc...I'm willing to pay people for help in order to speed up this process because time is short and the process of allowing others review my work, actually strengthens their testimony, understanding, and pocketbook too. 
• I want to be able to work in my recliner or at my mom's house or at the doctor's office with Julie. I want my work to be very flexible because I am often led by the Spirit and the Spirit teaches me that I can't be static, I'm to look for opportunities to serve and to serve with all of my heart.  

What purpose driven companies or initiatives do you admire and why?

• I admire companies who take care of their employees well, from free meals to birthdays off, to plenty of paid vacation, to a fun, team player, engaged work environment. I like the idea of being able to go to work and give it your all and then being able to go home and separate from work. I feel like there should be enough employees and automation to allow people to work a standard 9-5 and feel like they can complete their work. I like the companies that build community through parties, celebrations, trainings, and a positive culture. I want to provide trainings to my employees and make sure that as they advance in position, they can feel confident in what they do. For example, if they move into management, I want to pay to send them to management training. If they move from production to production manager, I want to make sure they are equipped for the job by paying for 1-2 trainings per year to sharpen their skills.
• I admire companies that use wise vendors and that are conscious of their global impact. I love buying things that are recycled, repurposed, happily made, and local. I love supporting the US market and small business owners.
• I admire companies that give props to others in their space and share great companies.
• I admire companies that donate a portion of money or time to local or global needs. Money to support those in need, charities, non-profits, and human improvement and all things I love.
• I love service, so days where everyone in the company participates in a day of service inspires and uplifts me.

What does a purpose driven company look like or mean to me?

• To me, a purpose driven company looks like a gift from the Lord. It looks like people who understand their stewardship and responsibility to the resources God has given them.
• To me, it looks like following the Lord's way of helping and serving people through love. Love of people, love of the world, love of freedom, love of peace.

What breaks your heart about the world today? What issue or challenge would you like to help solve?

• It breaks my heart to see children being sold into sex slavery, to see people abuse power, to see women and children in other countries treated worse than animals. It breaks my heart to see parents hurt their children, people not understand how to care for their bodies, people not understand how to care for their Spirits. It breaks my heart that people are so faithless and look for relief in consumerism. It breaks my heart that the people of this world believe the lies of the media and have forgotten the God that gave them life. It breaks my heart that people are so wasteful, they waste their lives day after day, they waste food, clothing, energy, emotion, talent, their health, their sanity, and they trade it for things that will not satisfy or bring them what they seek, which is lasting peace and joy. It breaks my heart that the people of this world feel so lost and confused and hopeless, that they are willing to be educated by talking heads and that they are unwilling to read and write and overcome. They want everything given to them in soundbites and edited scripts. It breaks my heart that children need instant gratification, their parents not teaching them the priceless skills of patience, hard work, and daily determination. My heart is broken for the selfish, weak people we have become, we can't even read a sheet of paper without distraction and disturbance inside of us. It breaks my heart that Satan has gotten ahold of the hearts of so many people and they believe they are worthless and alone and have no value. It breaks my heart to see young girls and boys take their own lives in an effort to relieve the pain of heavy emotion, instead of learning valuable skills that will help them relieve the pain and still live this mortal life. It breaks my heart that people won't try or do hard things, that we have become a lazy people indeed, expecting everything to be handed to us.
• I'd like to solve some of the issues listed above. I'd definitely like to help people understand their value and find the Lord and learn to worship him. I'd love to help people overcome their heavy feelings and find a way to do work on themselves so that they are no longer in survival mode and can thrive in this life, having the time and energy to fulfill their higher purpose. I would like to help the helpless, the victims of abuse and neglect and circumstance. I'd like to educate people on how their bodies, minds, and spirit's operate so that they can live life abundantly. I'd like to help people learn that hard, diligent, patient, work pays off and that to work toward a worthy goal is a high and noble calling. I'd like to teach people how to overcome the world and build their foundation on Jesus Christ.

If you could make any positive impact in the world through your business (beyond your own financial gain) what would that be?

• I would definitely teach people how to find joy in this life and eternal life in the world to come. 
• I would help people overcome the weight of sin by teaching them about repentance.
• I would help serve families by educating them about how to live life to the fullest.
• I would provide relief to those in need, especially those who are victims of abuse, neglect, or difficult circumstance (fire, flood, earthquake, government problems, radicals, etc..)
• I would teach people how to think beyond themselves so that the influence for good could spead exponentially.

• My purpose driven business is my course. I teach people the skills to be able to connect spiritually and find their higher purpose and to be able to let go of their temporal baggage. With this instruction, they can then rise. I will teach them online in a pre-recorded class and run them through mind stretching exercises. This will allow the Spirit to teach them and open up their heart for more possibilities.
• After paying for my expenses and salary, I will take a portion of my earnings and invest in the future school I intend to build. I will also invest money into an account for medical grants for alternative doctors, healthy foods, and naturopathic medicines. I will have those seeking a grant, apply for the money through a vetting process. When the person was healthy and whole, I would ask them to share with their friends.
• I collaborate this foundation with others so that the pool of grant money could grow and meet more needs.
• I will pay a generous tithe and fast offering on my salary which will help the poor and needy in my area.
• My employees and I will participate in two service days a year, which will be arranged by someone with the specific responsibility to reach out and find local people in need.
• I would spend once a week serving in the temple and searching out my dead.
• I'd minister to those around me.

Purpose

At the end of the day, what difference am I trying to make through my business? 

• At the end of the day, I'm trying to connect people with the Lord. I'm trying to help them build a relationship of love and trust and understanding.

What is the purpose, cause or belief that inspires this business?

• I want to help people find joy and I know the only way to find joy is through developing a relationship with the Savior. I love the Lord and I love his children, I sincerely want to help them so they can help themselves.

Why should this business exist? Why now? What’s the bigger impact I’m hoping to create in the world?

• The people of this world are wandering around on paths and are lost. They need help to find the truth, the way, and the light. I am hoping to lead people to the Lord so that they can live in eternity with their families, with their Heavenly Father. I am hoping that I can help them find hope to put in the daily effort. 

People

Who do you want to serve through your business?

• I want to serve those who are looking to find hope and peace in this life and in the life to come. I'm looking for people who are open and receptive. I'm looking for people who want to develop a deeper relationship with their Savior and are willing to work on themselves in the process. I'm looking for people who know there is truth and want to internalize it, who want to become Saints, who want to rely on the Lord. I'm looking for people who want to improve their lives, who want to live their purpose, who want to live their beliefs, who want to change the world. I'm looking for positive, open, truth seekers, who are willing to work on their relationship with the Lord and feel that it can be the best work that they can do.

What’s their worldview?

• They believe in a higher power, they believe that we can change, they believe that truth can be found in all good things. They believe that we are children of God and that because of that inherent nature, we all want to find the best within ourselves. They view the world as an opportunity to learn and grow and are always looking for growing opportunities. They believe the world needs their genious and they believe that God provides miracles every day. They believe in the sanctity of human life and they believe that God has a plan for them. They believe that they can become new creatures through the atonement of Christ. They are generally open and trusting. 

What specific difference do you hope to make in their life?

• I hope to guide them to find and internalize the truths they've been taught. I want to show them how to apply what they've been learning all of their lives. I want to teach them how to get out of their own way and how to progress in this life. I want to lead them to their best selves so that they can spend their lives progressing. I want to teach them how to prioritize their lives so that they will stay in tune with the Spirit. I want to recruit members of Zion's camp, I want to be their sister in arms who stands for truth and right. I want them to be able to trust me and know that we have each other's backs. I want to remind them what they are fighting for and help them know they are not alone.

What are you selling? Describe it as clearly and concisely as you can.

• I am selling an online course that leads people to Jesus Christ by helping them get out of their own way and make progress in their lives by coming to trust in their Savior. 

What specific difference does your product or service make in your customer’s lives? What specific problem are you solving?

• My course helps people discover their roadblocks and helps them learn to clear the way. I help people gain clarity and understanding on the three fundamentals of this life, who they are, why they are here, and where they are going after they die.
• I help people adjust their paradigms and learn to intentionally create the life they seek in partnership with God.
• I help people focus on what matters most.
• I teach them how to love unconditionally and improve the relationships in their lives, starting with their relationship with themselves and Heavenly Father.
